Awesome game with super graphics and functioned perfect. 5 stars and well worth it.

I bought the game on my mac book pro late 2012 and it plays without a lag its awesome the missions are endless and there are like 7 cars to fully upgrade and quadbikes and zombies and theres a mini gun and loads of crazy awesome stuff BUy BUY BUY

I Have RAGE on 360. Now RAGE is available on MAC. Awesome gameplay, awesome weapons, awesome grafix, awesome enemies. Must play game by everyone.

Great game all round but cant give 5 star since a wired xbox controller will not work for me. If this is fixed then 5 stars without a doubt!

Another great game from Aspyr - fantastic graphics, challenging enemies, great weapons and interactive environments, variety of combat modes and abundant mini-games,fluid voice acting ……..its all here. Great buy if youre a first person shooter fan, additional thumbs up for easy keyboard controls.

The most beautiful-looking game ever made. Game play is excellent. Extremely satisfying weapons, especially the Shotgun with Pop Rocket ammo. Fun vehicle races and combat. This game is simply the best AAA title Ive ever played on the Mac. Better than Batman Arkham Asylum, better than Bioshock, and way, way, way better than Borderlands. But theres a save game bug: occasionally, the save database will corrupt. That means you will loss your progress in a level, but the game will just send you back to the beginning of the level. It *will* happen to you - it happened to me three times! Frankly, you dont really need to save your game, so if you want to avoid this bug, dont manually save at all and just rely on the checkpoints. The checkpoints are very far apart (basically, the checkpoints are where the level loads), so be ready for that. Theres also a minor bug with the character animations: they sometimes lose sync with the dialog, but they sync back up after a few sentences. This is a real shame since the character animations are so good. But despite these bugs, this game is really fantastic. If you like shooters, play this game now.

Though a first-person shooter, it is unique in that there is more to this game than just destroying everyone you see until the game ends. Theres interacting with non-hostile NPCs, picking up different missions from different sources, and entire towns/cities to explore where youre safe and can take a break from the hostile environments just outside. On foot or in a vehicle, with a wide variety of different weapons and differnet kind of missions available to you, the game keeps you interested - not to mention the stunning visuals. Everything from the explosions, to the landscape, to the characters in the game look great. On a Mid 2011 Mac mini i7 2.7 GHz, 8GB RAM and AMD Radeon HD 6630M, the game runs fluidly on 1024-by-768 pixel resolution and surprisingly does not sacrifice much in terms of the visuals despite the lower resolution. It will run on a higher resolution on my particular setup but I preferred smoother frames over a higher screen resolution. Overall a great, fun game and worth the entrance fee Aspyr is charging.

Game is ok but crashes often. To make it worse, the crashes render the save games unuseable so you are always starting over. Not worth the money!

I have a Mac Pro 3.1 with Radeon HD 5870 and the texture takes so long to load, making the game barely playable. Epic deception.

this is a great looking game and fun to play, but is pretty repetitive and quite often doesnt save properly. ive lost hours of game time due to saved games not picking up where i left off.

I bought Rage to really test out the gaming capabilities of my new 2012 Macbook Pro (15 non-retina, 2.6 i7 model) and so far, Im very impressed. The game runs at a smooth 30-50 frames per second on nearly maxed out settings. My only complaint lies in the fact that vertical synch takes such a toll on the framerate. That aside, this is a great game that Id easily reccomend to owners of higher end Macbook Pro models.

my game really lag and make me rage in the game i wake up and go out and boum my screen freeze

I read and checked the rqs before downloading and everything checked out. Despite this it freezes and crashes in opening scenes and it can not be played. I have the Nvidia GeForce 8800 on my iMac. Aspyr considers this matter "solved" because they say there are issues with Moutain Lion and Nvidia. I find the information that they are providing is misleading and/or inaccurate. Use caution when considiering this Aspyr product.

If you have a mac mini mid-2010 even with 8go of DDr3 ram it crashes at the first action scene even at the lowest definition(1024 X 768). keep your money for something else. I am disappointed because on some internet sites it was suppose to be the minimum to be able to play.Unfortnatley it is not real.

Cant get 5 min into game without freezing. Sometimes it even freezes before I get to the start screen. Can something be done to fix this?

This works really well on my mac great game and lots of fun... five clear stars!!!!

Game worked great and I had zero issues with the functioning portion. It’s the actual gameplay itself which got me. The game is simply boring and very linear. I played through in a matter of 2 days and when the ending came I was surprised because the story felt like it was starting to build to … something. If all you want is a shooter then $20 aint bad but don’t expect anything new or fancy and don’t expect any kind of story or character development. I give it 2 “meh”s out of 5. ID what happened to you?

I wish they made all games like this. Picture is clear, you clearly see what you are shooting at…. It has a perfect balance of shooting, driving, racing, storyline, etc. Highly recommended.

Go to System Preferences > Language & Text - ensure that English is the uppermost Language on the Language Tab - try and start RAGE now
