I purchased this game and recieved no positive feedback. Everytime i launch this game is plays for a few min and then crashes, freezes, Does not Respond. No matter what i adjust the settings to it will always 100% of the time, crash. I have played and purchased other games from the same company and had no issued except for this game. I recomend holding your purchases on this game until they find a solution. I sent a ticket requestion to aspire for a refund for a game i purchased that i cannot play/use. I hope they come through because this was a waist for money on a huge level. I really really wanted to play this game and by their default the game does not run,work, operate whatever. It doesnt Work. They need to fix the game very very soon, or refund my money.

I bought this game, turns out it doesnt work on mountain lion. Visited the support site and found a post about this by Aspyr media. I asked for a refund, they said to ask the vendor which meant ask apple, who of course wont give it to me. Wish this wouldve been in the description since I have the correct video card, instead of just saying it doesnt work on mountain lion (like they do on the support site) they talk about the video card. I wont every buy a game from Aspyr media again.

I bought this last week when it went on sale. It was worth every penny. It runs beautifully on my 3.2 i3 iMac with 10.8.2. I believe I am about half way through the game, and Ive never experienced one bug. I love the look and feel of the game. The graphics are the best best Ive ever seen on this computer. I enjoy going back and forth between the FPS portion of the game, and driving. Its a great mix. I wish they would extend the multiplayer to Mac, but it doesnt look like that is going top happen. I did a little research, and it looks like they broke up the team (ID) that did this game. That is a shame. This game is fantastic, and deserves a follow up.

This should be taken down or at least a warning posted that it DOESNT WORK IN MOUNTAIN LION. Doesnt seem like brain surgery.

Running on MacBookPro5,2 17" late 2010 on ML. Goes through all the annoying intro screens (which it wont let you bypass), then hangs. Contacted support, and their only response was to make sure youre running in "Better Performance" mode to use the discrete graphics chip. Didnt solve the problem. Trying to get a refund now.

I am not very far in the game, but I can say it is good. It is a bit overpriced, but alright.

Okay, I bought this game hopeing for it to be fun and entertaining. But I have OS X Mountain Lion and it apperently it doesnt work for it! I try to restart my computer but it seems to just crash as soon as I start to play it. So if you would please update it, then i will give it 5 stars

13GB and still downloading. Estimated time, 2 days! I do not know who is responsible for the speed is much too slow...

Its a game I have been longing for since I ever saw it. Then I get it and its great! But every time I get to the wasteland in a buggy it will be very laggy. Please make my favorite game be even better! please add more customization, like scopes and stuff

For $9.99, you cannot beat this. I am running this game on a 2011 iMac and it runs flawless! I have the 6970 with 2 gb of ram for the video card, 24 gb of ram and a solid state drive. This game is beautiful. The textures look great and the draw distance is fantastic. I have yet to experience any of the issues mentioned below. No crashes, game not running slow. While on a small vacation for Christmas I have done nothing but play this. Do yourself a favor and pick this one up.

i have mac air running mountain lion. rage stops responding completely and freezes after 2 minutes of gameplay…which isnt even gameplay! FIX THIS! A LOT OF PEOPLE WILL BE DISSAPOINTED AFTER GETTING MOUNTAIN LION.

Let me start of by saying that the graphics are incredible, however, there are a lot of graphical bugs that detract from this fact (purple/blue chunks, things in the distance not loading properly, pixel blurring when quickly looking around or moving fast…). The combat is awesome though, the weapons all are powerful enough, the game has many 4 difficulty levels so that any player can have fun, and the enemies are challenging and fun to fight. The driving combat and races are fun, and this feature definitely adds positively to the experience. The controls got a little messed up and i couldnt perform various actions at times, but changing the controls around fixed all of that. The story is a little bit weak, without major conflicts, and the entire premise is a bit cliché, but the quests are still varied and fun. Since the storyline isnt a main focus of the game, it can be replayed again and again for fun. Overall, it runs decently on my 2012 macbook pro, it is loads of fun, and it is simply the best game that you can get for the price.

Do not waste your money if you are running Mountain Lion. This game will not work and Aspyr has stopped accepting comments on this issue on their website. Too bad it looks like a good game.

Runs great on MBPr. Game is fun and so far has scared me a few times with random enemies jumping out of no where haha. Get it while its on sale too!!

Crashes during first cutscene out of the ark. And theres no way Ive found to get my money back. If you read closely, there are known issues with Nvidia graphics and Mountain Lion. Theyve been known for months and the game is still sold to people without warning.

Rage is a really great game. I have to say Im quite impressed with what id Software did with the new IDTech 5 engine. This runs pretty well on my 22" iMac, although I did have to dial down the settings a bit. I was a little concerned that there would be problems with the game on Mountain Lion, but the game loads and runs fine. I have an ATI Radeon HD 5670 with a Core i3 and the game is very playable. There is occasional texture lag but its not terrible. Overall Id have to say that this is a very imaginative and fun game from id Software, the inventors of the first person shooter.

No matter what price - the $9 bucks special I got or $50….regardless, this is a fantastic game - great play, great setup, great style. I only wish for a few things: 1. More campaign coherence - less reliance in both major cities on the same kind of interactions (job-board, races, shops, bars, games, all were essentially the same in both locations - the only difference being a few of the characters. 2. A more obvious way for the "extras" to be used in the game (all the accessories you can build - I beat the game in 3 days of playing with out making anything other than wingsticks and door openers - the other accessories really diddnt make a whole lot of sense). Other than that, seriously fun game!

The game works great on Mac OS X Mountain Lion with 10.8.2, can comment on any further but it works even better. We need the new DLC Scorchers to make it here, ARE YOU LISTENING ASPYR!!!!!!!!!! Lets make it happen!!!!! Great game and only missing the multiplayer but the DLC would make up for it a bit!!!! Highly recommend and please buy Mac games to make sure we get more AAA titles on this platform!!!!!!!

This game is very fun to play and has some amazing graphics that come with it. I still although feel as though that some of the settings need to be fix and that they should of included multiplayer. I also hope though that in the future multiplayer will be available to those who have bought this game for a very cheap price or even free.

Lots of fun, large file (14gb) and runs the computer hot and drains the battery. but it is worth it!!! Great Game!
